We have all noticed that nowadays, breast cancer is in expansion. There was a study taken in Norway, which showed that people who drink 3 cups of milk daily, have greater chance of developing breast cancer than people who drink one cup or less. It seems that milk is one of the causes for the increased risk.
Actually, it was believed that milk can prevent or reduce the risk of the cancer development, but after this study scientists have evidence that it may be a reason for an increase of cancer patients!
Most of the patients come from countries like Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, Canada and America, the countries that are leaders in milk consumption.
The Norwegian study revealed that breast cancer is extremely rare i.e. that it does not exist in cultures where little milk is not very consumed.
It is already known that hormones and growth factors in milk have carcinogenic potential, and this also applies to synthetic supplements of vitamin D, which often enrich the milk and other dairy products.
It is believed that those who suffer from breast cancer, on average consume twice as much synthetic vitamin D, unlike the others.
But there are other reasons to be kept in mind. The number of cases has grown along with the consumption of dough, sugar and certain types of meat (especially pork), and reducing the consumption of raw vegetables and fish.
On the other hand, bras, particularly those that are too tight can also increase the risk. Women who regularly wear a bra for 12 hours, have an increased risk of breast cancer by 20 times, compared to those who use it rarely or never wear it, especially when it comes to bras with metal support.
