Chili can be as much helpful as the other drugs from the group of calcium channels blockers such as verapamil, amlopidine, diltizem and nifedipine, but it’s less harmful for your stomach. It is not yet known what amount of capsaicin is needed to preserve health.
There are people who can’t tolerate chili, and if you are one of them you can still consume the pepper which has a milder taste that the chili, because it contains the compound kapsinoid that is acting in a similar way as the capsaicin.
