48-Hour Weekend Liver, Colon and Kidney Detox that Will Remove All Toxins and Fat from Your Body

It is a type of method that is based on onsuming particular foods that will improve the function of these three important organs. In order to stick to this diet, you will need to prepare and consume these meals and snacks for just 2 days.

Breakfast – quinoa and prunes

Ingredients:

  • Half cup of quinoa
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil
  • 1/3 cup of chopped prunes
  • 1/4 cup of rice milk

This is the best recipe for a morning meal because of the quinoa, which is a whole grain that is rich in protein, phosphorus and fiber. Other important ingredients are the prunes, which also contain fiber and sorbitol which is a great laxative.

Preparation:

Take small pot pour the cup of water in it, add half cup of quinoa, a pinch of nutmeg and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger. Mix it well and boil. Then, lower the heat, cover the pot and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add the prunes and rice milk. Then, cover again and cook for another 5 minutes. Before consuming, add and stir one tablespoon of flaxseed oil.

Detox drinks as snacks between meals:

Kale, pineapple and ginger

These ingredients have many useful benefits. The kale has ability to clean the kidneys, the pineapple is rich in bromelain which will help you with digestion and the ginger will stimulate the bile flow in the gall bladder. Prepare this juice in a juicer. All you need to do is to put all the ingredients in the juicer and mix them well.

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of pineapple
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 bunch of kale. Remove the stems
  • Half squeezed lemon
  • 1/4 inch of ginger
  • Half a cup of mint

 

Pineapple, lemon and pomegranate

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup of unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 3 cups of water

 

You will also need a juicer for this drink. Put all the ingredients in it and mix them well. You’ll get 4 servings from this amount, and you can drink it throughout the day.

Veggie snack

Preparation:

Take celery and cut it into pieces. Then add some radishes and a cucumber and mix them well. You can add some olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Consume this drink as much as you want throughout the day.

Lunch – fruit smoothie

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of plain, unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed or chia
  • ¼ cup of frozen blueberries
  • ¼ banana
  • Half a cup of ice

 

Preparation:

All you need to do is to wash the ingredients well, put them in a blender and mix them well until you get a smooth concoction.

Blueberries are rich in quercetin, flavonoid that improves immune system and is good for function of the liver. Bananas are rich in vitamin B6, which is an important for detoxification of the liver. Ground flaxseed is rich in omega 3 that is good for the brain, and it is rich in fiber beneficial in improving elimination.

Vegetable Broth Soup for Dinner

Ingredients:

  • 2 chopped red onions
  • 2 chopped celery stalks
  • 1 chopped fennel bulb with fronds and stalks
  • 2 teaspoons of caraway seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup of sliced shitake caps
  • 4 large chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 chopped cabbage
  • 2 quarts of water
  • 2 tablespoon of paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh oregano
  • 8 sprigs of chopped parsley with stems and leaves
  • Half a cup of chopped parsley

 

Preparation:

Take all the ingredients, except the chopped parsley, put them in a pot and then add the 2 quarters of water. Put them on a low heat to boil and then simmer it for an hour. When the mixture is done, you can serve it and add the chopped parsley on the top.

Benefits:

Fennel aids will improve the flow of bile in the gall. Garlic helps the function of the liver and of the gall bladder. Cabbage is great detoxification for liver and kidneys. Shitake mushrooms improve liver enzymes. The soup can also be served with sauerkraut siding, with sliced apples. Sauerkraut includes probiotics (good bacteria) that protect our GI tract. Apples helps in improving the function of the liver and the kidneys.

You should follow the following rules for best results:

  • Never eat after 7 p.m.
  • Epsom salt bath will help you in sweating and removing the toxins. It has magnesium that will help you in relaxing your muscles.
  • Take a cup of dandelion root tea, before sleep. This will help the liver to eliminate toxins from your body.
